She didn’t know what she wanted. What she thought was real, turned out to be nothing but empty promises hidden behind beautiful smiles. She fell too fast and a little too hard. She would learn her lesson. It became harder and harder to see that not everything will be as she remembered, but with every possibility that turned up, bitter memories surfaced. She couldn’t find solace anywhere. She was in between making herself happy and hoping someone else would be there. She was comfortable in her own skin, but she faltered often. She longed for safety and consistency. But nothing seemed to satisfy this insatiable thirst. She didn’t know what she wanted, or needed for that matter. What she thought she wanted proved to be nothing that was good for her. She didn’t know where to go from here, which direction to face. None of her questions would be answered, because she didn’t know what she wanted. And she still doesn’t know.
